Have you an Apple watch? That can check heart rhythms - if you’ve not got one can you just use a friends ? I had heart palpitations and after tests it was low iron levels.

Morning! How is everyone? Had a better day yesterday, spent the day having meetings and trying to sort things out. Then went for a bike ride with the children and OH bought coffee and doughnuts and a second hand Lee Child book from the post office for me, which made me so, so happy. It’s amazing what a book does for my happiness. Consequently no schooling got done, but we should be back to normal today. Have workouts this morning, then home for schooling and tidying, then back for workouts tonight and a personal training session, It’s going to be a long day. Really need to sort the washing too!Moneywise: I had to give £3 to a child’s leaving fund, usually £5 but I just can’t afford to give more at the moment, and May’s tooth came out yesterday, so the tooth fairy left £1. So I’m £4 down out of my £58, so £54. But found a £2 coin so that’s back in and I should have someone picking up 2 books at lunchtime so that’s another £6 and OH didn’t want the £10 from the amazon order I did on his account of hair dye etc the other day. So I’m actually up to £64 in the contingency. I still have more stuff to sell. Going to put more things on FB maybe EBay later hopefully.Right must get ready for work.4

Missy I love a good book too! Like you say it's amazing how something so simple can be a good pick up. Glad to hear you had a more balanced day. The bike ride sounds great and trust me the kids would have got loads from it. I'm a big believer that there is lots to learn from just going for a walk / cycle ride.
I'm only this week feeling I'm getting a bit of value from home schooling and tbh I'm only on day 2 but life and all that. Getting my eldest to do school work is painful. He is terrible at sitting for me and just getting on with it but I still persevere with it & the young one we are literally at the beginning of learning to read and write so that's a bit more fun.2025 financial goals & challenges!

Hi Missymoo I didnt read your posts properly so think my comments about Gousto were irrelevant so have deleted them. You are making steady progress with the selling - it was feels quite a boost doesn`t it when sales come in !

Hey JanB5 don’t worry, I appreciate your comments thank you so much for posting. I love selling stuff, especially when it’s stuff I don’t need. And well done on the schooling Clarissa. So today..... I haven’t done much I’ve been exhausted from being up so much with May in the night. I did my class this morning and made the children lunch and had breakfast and cleaned the kitchen up. I’m just programming for my personal training session tonight. On the hair front I’ve washed my hair with conditioner but laid on it whilst it was wet and used my new curl cream and my hair is like an Afro...... think I may have to use my old mousse but continue the conditioner washing method.
Got to go to work at 6, will make the smalls pasta and bolognese. But we can’t eat until later so need a really quick dinner for tonight but haven’t really got anything. The things I got on Gousto are good and all but the risotto took an hour to make the other night and I won’t get home until 9.15pm.2 -
Have you got enough of the Bolognese to have for yourself tonight. Wouldn't take long to reheat and cook some pasta to go with it.1

Morning, thanks for the thought. JoeDenise, in the end I cooked the teriyaki chicken Gousto meal, OH was working so it gave me time To make it. I’m really pleased I did as it was amazing! It’s definitely something I will make again. I get the 4 people option which I share between us all, which works well, it wouldn’t be enough food if it was for 4 adults in our family though. But it works for 2 adults and 2 children.
So today I have work then some errands to run. Really need to go to Sainsbury’s today and pick up some things for May that she ordered with her birthday money. Also need to pick some bits up from people and give bits to others to help them.I absolutely must do these today:
home school
sort washing
wash floor
unload dishwasher
put washing on
helpchildren tidy bedroom
empty bin
Work along side this too.Ooh I have managed to secure another £100 for personal training online, it means a late night on a Thursday still, but that’s much needed money. Which is great. I won’t add that to the budget until it’s in my hand though (Well in my bank account).
Children have just had cereal for breakfast, I think I will have porridge today but not til later, I’ll have banana bread before my class.Right I really must get ready! Speak soon.2 -
Teriyaki chicken sounds good. Glad you had some proper food rather than just toast or porridge!

Have worked and watched blue planet with the children, and got them to write shopping lists. I will shortly do the bin and the dishwasher and I will def go to sainsburys and hopefully do some washing. Did manage to sort out my Tesco club card account though. I realised it wasn’t attached to my online account so all of my online shop points weren’t tracking. All sorted though and I have £5 to use and OH has £16 on his, so I’ve booked a shop on his account too so I can save some money with the vouchers, and they’re sending me new card and fobs so we can just use the one clubcard account for petrol and shopping as it seems silly using two. I usually use Lidl on a weekly basis but since lockdown I prefer to do click and collect.
Tomorrow or later on tonight I need to go through all of the cash money I have just to make sure I’m where I think I am.Right need to sort dinner and get on and get ready for work.2 -
Wouldn't be easier if you, OH and children all ate the same things? It seems you are making things more difficult for yourself by each having different things.
