Home! God 6+ hours In the car with a 10 minute stop was tough going! I am very proud of myself though. OH bought coffee as we were so tired and I steered away from my expensive one with all the spangled and I just went for a basic latte. Also took squash and made rolls so for the first time ever we didn’t buy food on the journey! Before we went home I called in at Lidl…. I absolutely didn’t want to, nor was I happy when I saw how busy it was…… but…. I persevered, and didn’t go to COOP and used my vouchers which ran out today. I bought mince, kidney beans, sweet corn, bread, milk and tooth paste, and with my vouchers it came to £2.25!!! I meant to get chilli seasoning but I couldn’t find it, so I’m going to figure it out with my spices! That’s all the food we need for the weekend as we’re out Sunday for lunch BIL is paying as we paid the other week. We have cheese and butter etc for sandwiches, we have cereal in the cupboard for breakfast (I’m going to try the porridge ideas). I’m going to make chilli for dinner and make enough for tonight and tomorrow, I’m going to serve it with rice, not the ready cooked variety either! I’m going to bulk it all out and hope to have extra over to put in the freezer for burritos or nachos or maybe even both 😳.3

Well done on the journey and lack of snack buying! Very impressive. All these little things certainly add up 😊0

Thanks @Cheery_Daff. I was a little bit pleased with myself.I’ve just invoiced for my £70, that I should have invoiced in April. So pleased I’ve done it!Feels odd being home. It’s weird I have nothing to do for the next few days, it’s one thing being on holiday and doing nothing. But being at home is strange. I do have a great big list to do….. so maybe I should do that! Have got a couple of things ticked off already!2

Oooh quick question for the Lidl shoppers amongst you. Do you know if lidl sell meat free mince and how much it is? Also looking for the price of Doussy fabric softener but can’t find the price online for a small bottle, think it was £1.29…. Just trying to budget. Meant to look earlier but was too stressed by the amount of people everywhere!1

Alsoooo whilst I’m asking for things…. Does anyone know of a good grey coverage medium brown hair dye. I’m spoilt for choice and have no idea what works and what doesn’t!1
-
I don't dye my hair anymore, decided it's time to grow old gracefully, LOL but when I did I used to use Schwarzkopf which was reasonably priced and good at covering the grey!1

I used to use nutrisse as it didn’t smell as bad, but like @joedenise I don’t anymore. I stopped a year and a half ago, but it’s slow growing out…I’m maybe a fifth witch and fourth fifths old brown dye…when I grow up I’m going to be all witch 🧙♀️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Ah thanks ladies. At some point I will grow my colour out but I’m not ready for it yet. I’ve used Schwarzkopf before and it was great just too dark so I’m thinking of the medium brown. It just looks a bit dull….. if I am inclined enough I’ll go to Tesco tomorrow and have a look.I’m a little pleased with myself as have eaten a lot of frogs since I’ve got home. Which have paid off. £70 has already been paid! So that’s great, I’ve managed to do some washing and hang it up, and I’ve sent some info over to the Drs surgery that was needed. So I’m happy about that. OH is out for a few hours tomorrow. Can’t shake the feeling that I need to go to work or take children to and from clubs and make packed lunches etc.2

Good morning, just…..
I didn’t get out of bed until late as I’ve been struggling sleeping. But I’ve got up and done a load of washing which I’ve hung on the line, another load is in the WM. I’ve cleaned the sides and emptied the recycling. I still have plenty of things to do but my list is going down slowly!Today is a home maker type day. Going to see how much of the house I can sort. I’m still getting my head around my lists. I’m going to need to write out my financial things more clearly, I know what they mean now, I have written notes all over it. But I won’t have a clue what I meant in a weeks time!1 -
Soooo, coffee made and half drunk, have put another load in the machine and hung another load on the line. Line is straining at the weight and ran out of fabric conditioner and the towels smell a bit foisty, so I’m hoping being line dried might help a little…..
Have ordered some hair dye from Amazon and some muffin cases and cat litter. OH said he would pay for the above, albeit a while ago, and maybe not the muffin cases….. but, I doubt he’ll say anything 😁.I was stressing myself about surveys and trying to reach a certain monetary goal each day, it was fine until the surveys dried up and I was checking every 10 seconds to see if I had one, as I wanted to order Roo’s present. But it was £35.80 or similar with postage and survey money wasn’t quite up to that. So I’ve had a word with myself. And left it, but then had a look on Amazon and found the present in the warehouse deals for £33.50….. So I’ve tried to be sensible….. I withdrew £29.odd from surveys still have £5 to be approved. Payment appeared immediately in PayPal! Which is amazing. So I transferred that to my current account, also took the difference from my £40 spends, think it was £3.85. (I will replace as and when the other surveys are approved.) So have ordered it! That’s 2 presents done for Xmas/birthdays and I feel much better about it, With very little damage to accounts.
Going to dig out at least 3 things to list on eBay this afternoon. I’m saying 3 to not set myself stupid goals, as otherwise I think why bother as I’ll never reach that amount! So 1 will be my walking boots that I wore once, they just need a little clean…. Need to figure out what the other things are. Hmm may need to reset my ebay selling stuff as sure I had a message to say I needed to update stuff before I could do selling!2
