    Muffins or cookies?
And for the coat, I think it’s sensible to have 2 colours. They clearly last a long time and you’d get your money’s worth.
I don’t know much about hot tub upkeep, I always presume they’d take a lot of cleaning out?

Oooh yes I could indeed add it to muffins, as we make muffins once a week! And we could add it to banana bread to bulk it out. I wonder what it would be like in savoury dishes such as chilli, whether it would just disappear?

So have just been looking at the lidl app, and I have a £2 voucher to spend by tomorrow! No minimum spend…. So on our way home I will call in and get milk and bread as we don’t have much food at home. And another bonus is that if I spend another £45 in 13 days I get £10 more off! So I’m going to endeavour to use that £45 to get food for home for the rest of the month into next month I’m thinking until the 11th as that is when we’re home properly from all courses etc. I will get OH to find this if possible. We’re away again next week in Yorkshire and OH is paying for that shop. I’m not going to buy things I don’t need. I know the vouchers have about a 7 day validity, so if I don’t need anything in particular I will stock up on cat food and washing powder.

If I spend £200 a month at lidl. I’ll get this off every month. £12 is a big saving! For stuff I’d buy anyway. Which makes it even more worth while going to Lidl
instead of nipping to Coop. So I’m going to have to be clever with regards to what I buy in Tesco. I may have to forego the Clubcard points on shopping on the stuff that’s the same price. But make sure OH uses Clubcard when he gets fuel. You do still get points for fuel don’t you?

I think you do, but I'm no clubcard expert...

We often stick oats in a chilli to bulk it out a bit and make the sauce a bit creamier. I reckon they'd just disappear.

Hot tub sounds like it would need a significant amount of maintenance! I have no advice re presents - it was my 40th last year and only one person (not Mr Cheery) managed to get me a present before the day... My sister bought me a fig tree which was cheerful, although we've not actually had any figs off it yet 😂

Hey @Cheery_Daff thanks for that! I’m actually working on my 40th so it’s not going to be a particularly special day hence the thought of ‘deserving’ something nice. Love the sound of a fig tree! I always thought I hated figs until I had a fresh one…. I was basing it off of fig rolls, which to me are 🤮 🤦🏻‍♀️.

Thanks @kelpie35 need to check what card OH is using as points def aren’t appearing!

Feeling a wee bit stressed again. Just had a look at figures from yesterday and nothing at all makes sense, DD’s have come out that didn’t come up in upcoming bills 🤷🏻‍♀️!!!!! Have just redone figures. Changing budget for children's bedroom to £100
now after our discussions yesterday. Actually need to find another £116 this month, (by sept 6th)…… eBay it is!

If he uses the tesco credit card/debit card it should automatic add points.

If he does not have any of these cards then he needs to get a fob card from tesco and ask him to keep it on his key ring and that will make it easier to remember to use.

We don’t have a CC for Tesco just the ordinary Clubcard but I have 2 and he has 1, they’re all different accounts though. I’ll see if he still has the fob on his key ring, I think he has the card in his wallet too. I’m saying all of this but im not actually sure which accounts they’re for! Need to make sure we’re using the same one rather than 3 different accounts!!!! Sometimes it’s the simplest things that trip you up 🤦🏻‍♀️. Well me anyway!

@missymoo81 regarding oats, what flavourings do you use?
Coco powered and good dose of sugar taste similar to coco pops. Honey is lovely on its own or cooked with banana. Peanut butter is best mixed in after cooking and better with water than milk (I think it may be the oil in it)
Half milk half water  also works for a creamish taste/texture.
Fruit juice, either fresh or from tinned fruit *also* gives you a creamy texture with just water, believe it or not!!! And then adding the fruit on top taste great. I've use orange and mango juices, tasted great .

    ... I eat porridge every morning 😂

I LOVE peanut butter in porridge. I make mine with water (just poured in from the kettle, no washing pans round here!) and add peanut butter and often honey and raisins. Not exactly diet food but very tasty 😁
