Who knows, expect the worst and you can't be disappointed.

At the moment all reviews are suspended. All you can do is wait and like i advised in your other thread earlier. Try not to worry until you know you have something to worry about.

ESA assessments / reassessments are currently on hold until around the third week in June. There's currently a massive backlog of assessments and reassessments waiting to be carried out - 101,910 for ESA on 4 May according to https://welfareweekly.com/260000-sick-and-disabled-people-left-waiting-for-benefit-assessments-due-to-covid-19/ (and as per the article, 166,630 PIP assessments too).
What will be the situation by the end of June? Most likely several thousand more awaiting assessment / reassessment and that's assuming the DWP gives the go ahead for assessments / reassessments to start then. The result will be a massive backlog that would take a considerable time to clear. As poppy12345 has posted, try not to worry. It could be a long time before the backlog itself is cleared and the DWP catch up.
Edit: the figures above only include outstanding assessments that are already with the relevant Assessment Provider.

  • Theres always been a backlog.

Should I expect an esa 50 form soon or whatever it’s called ? Usually it’s every year

Also . Who decides how often your esa is assessed ? Should I phone up and ask when my next assessment will be?

It comes when it comes. There isn’t a rigid timetable even in normal times.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

The advice hasn't changed since you last asked the same question. Once the suspension is lifted there will be huge backlogs.

If you phone up there will be a review date on your records.
They usually, but not always stick to that date to re-assess. And that is in normal times.
