I bought mine from Movietyme, got it yesterday, along with second game I ordered 8:30am, and no dead pixels!!

Not linked to this site in any way, but I have just bought my PSP from there, today. They have emailed me three time about what i want and answering my questions. So far I can recommend this store.

I got one from these guys as well, its not very clear how to specify the game you want so they called me, i ordered wipeout and it arrived the next day, however the psp has 4 YES 4!!! dead pixels

I dropped them an email explaining if there was anything i could do and someone rang me pretty much instantly, they offered to replace the console itself, they said the will call me tomorrow to arrange for one to be sent to me and i have to send mine back, they EVEN said they will pay for postage costs to send the dead pixel one back to them :T

Hopefully they will get back to me and send me out another PSP, ill post what happens.

Also, one of them says 'region free gaming' is this so with all psps?

there is no region locking for any PSP games, however there is region locking for movies that are sold on the PSP's UMD discs...therefore, you can play games from any country (as you can with a Gameboy) but can only play movies intended for the region that your PSP originates from...

re the UK plug adaptors, it depends who you buy from and what their description says (ie no Sony does not yet ship any PSPs with a UK power supply in the box)
