Alternatively, try www.electricbirdland.co.uk, they bundle a few extras, cables etc in the price - last time I looked they were £175 inc delivery (Shipped from UK) for the Japanese Value Pack.

    Cheers

ouch - looks like I got mine at the right time!

I have to say that I'm seriously impressed with the PSP, it's a great piece of kit and the picture quality is top notch!

Regarding importmadness.com, I would add a word of caution.
It's not obvious where they're based - the language used on the site is quite anglicised, but that's it.

If they are a U.S. site, then indeed you'll have import duties to pay.
If they're a U.K. site, then they're breaking Distance Selling regulations!
Their contact page does not have an address or a phone number and I couldn't find one anywhere else on the site (apologies if I missed it, but then shouldn't it be more obvious?) and at a personal level I would not do business with anyone who did not provide such details - just my 2p worth!

Interestingly enough, just checked and it looks like the site is hosted in Vancouver....

    Cheers

  • I recieved my Console from : http://www.ivaleo.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=66

It arrived next day, so I am a happy person. It did charge me £1.60 postage even when it was quoted free delivery but I aint complaining.

For my £00.2p At the moment you are looking to pay close to £200 for the psp and value pack with game from a UK based stockist. The cease and decist order may become an excuse to raise prices, hence why I chose to buy now.

If you are importing it be aware of delivery charges and Tax charges, if you do get taxed it is alledge to be in the region of £34 this can change the price from a good one to a very bad one. One thing you can try is to ask the importer to mark the package as a warranty return, as you are not allowed to pay tax on an item twice.

But, for 201.59 for a Jap ver 1.50 PSP (which will play UK UMD's) a Value Pack and a Game of my choice (Hot shots Golf, which is rather cool) seems a very good/safe price.

    Happy hunting people.
