Thanks
You need to remember lots of people and things for this one. Take a notebook with some notes in to remind you what you have to ask and look out for.
Write things down throughout the visit, sneaking off to the loo frequently if you can't do it discreetly during your game!
You'll never remember everything if you don't make notes.
Enjoy your outing! I love doing these jobsHere I go again on my own....0 -

i had to ask for a receipt as they did not offer one. went and sat down then noticed the manager nodding in our direction while talking to other employees. next thing, we have people cleaning up around us and others holding the doors open! my OH even went to the toilet and was followed by a man spraying air freshener and apologising!
i've never been treated like royalty in a fast food outlet before!!!!
Sadly, your assignment might not be valid as you have to do them on your own ............ this particular burger joint are pretty strict on this.
Also ... can you edit your post to remove their name as we're not allowed to mention actual names on here. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Don't worry about it!!
I have taken my OH too on those jobs in the past - as long as I queued on my own and only sat with her (so as not to affect timings etc) I think it's fine to argue the point with GAP. TBH I wouldn't have done any of them if she couldn't have come with me! Rules are rules but if they're not reasonable I may just break them every now and then!0 -

That's why I dont do the burger visits anymore. Cant even take the kids. Not much fun on your own and you cant order the seasonal specials, you have to order from the "reguar" menu which gets very boring after a while!! :rotfl:
You can take people with you to the Fried chicken places though :rotfl:
Welcome to the wonderful world of Mystery shopping anyway!!! :T :T :TWe’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Are you excited about tonight? Got the family round to watch??
Reminder for all - chocolatebutton is on channel 5 tonight on "it pays to watch"!! (7:30 I think)
Chocolatebutton is biting her nails, wondering what it's going to be like!
It does seem to be 7.30, despite the fact that the website advertised it as 7.25 when I was filming on Friday.....0 -

If you go to www.selfridges.com, then click on online services tab, they are asking for mystery shoppers.
Hope that is of interest to someone. (not me as we haven't Selfridges anywhere near us at all!))
Thanks for this. A word of warning, though....
If you sign up for one of the restaurant or cafe evaluations, you WILL NOT get your meal refunded by these mean barstewards!!! I rang them to check, and they seemed surprised that anyone would even ask! I pointed out to them in no uncertain terms that every other company refunds the costs of meals.:mad::mad:Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -

Wow that's ridiculous! I suppose it's Selfridges aiming at people who don't usually MS and think that a little contribution towards the meal they had is great!0 -
maybe i'll stop the burger joints ones for now then especially as i should be on a diet!!! it's not exactly healthy eating!
i've also signed up for Gfk - maybe i'll have more luck with that one!!2015 - I am determined to lose at least 3 stone in weight and I must pay off at least one of my credit cards...If I keep telling myself, I might start believing it!!!Save £2 a day for Xmas 2015 Challenge: £56/£730:dance: HAPPY NEW YEAR - HERE'S TO A GREAT 2015 FOR US ALL! :dance:0 -
