I've done these jobs before and the person didn't have a badge on. You will still get paid for it.
Just put a very detailed description of her, so they can work out exactly who it was, and comment that she didn't have a badge on herself or the window. Here I go again on my own....0 -
I'm relaxed now :T. Thanks for easing my worries.
I have a general question for GAP, In "My Assignment" Section, I can see a list of assignments i've completed recently. (I tend to send the receipt by FAX)
Now my question is after they receive your receipt for a particular assignment do they remove the "upload receipt" link that you see in the "my assignments" section.
The reason why i'm asking is because I've completed an assignment yesterday and sent the receipt for it by FAX. Now the receipt upload link have dissapeared from that assignment.
However, the upload receipt link did not dissapear from an assignment that I completed last Friday for which I have sent the receipt by FAX the same day.
Does that mean they didn't accept or receive my receipt for my Friday assignment?
I'm getting doubts about my Friday assignment receipt because it was for a pizza place (delivery) that only has a sticker type receipt on the box. This receipt has very little information about the order and store information. So didn't know if that pizza place have given me the right receipt ???? although it has a VAT number.
Thanks for your advice0 -
Handy for anyone nearby to the shop.
If you go to www.selfridges.com, then click on online services tab, they are asking for mystery shoppers.
Hope that is of interest to someone. (not me as we haven't Selfridges anywhere near us at all!))0 -
Hiya- I have signed up with TNS and have spent almost an hour going through this (v helpful!!) thread but not found them mentioned much (though I only got to page 7 before giving up!).
Any one have any experience with them?
Are they ok?
If they sort out tax does that mean i need to pay NI and do a self assessment?
Many thanks for your help
Hello
I am also signed up with TNS. I have done a few jobs for them and I have had more offered. They seem very good, the jobs have been straight forward to do, and the paperwork easy to fill out. They paid promptly - so no complaints from me.0 -

I wouldn't worry about it - if you send something by fax it no doubt gets stuck on a pile somewhere waiting for someone to clear....
Yes, the upload receipt thing does go (IIRC) when the fax has been processed.
I have a hunch that the receipt only gets looked at if they need to question the fact you've done the job - if your report is accepted by GAP and the client then I doubt very much your receipt will ever be looked at....0 -

i did my first assignment for GAP on the weekend...all went well although i do think they cottoned on to us though...
i had to ask for a receipt as they did not offer one. went and sat down then noticed the manager nodding in our direction while talking to other employees. next thing, we have people cleaning up around us and others holding the doors open! my OH even went to the toilet and was followed by a man spraying air freshener and apologising!
i've never been treated like royalty in a fast food outlet before!!!!2015 - I am determined to lose at least 3 stone in weight and I must pay off at least one of my credit cards...If I keep telling myself, I might start believing it!!!Save £2 a day for Xmas 2015 Challenge: £56/£730:dance: HAPPY NEW YEAR - HERE'S TO A GREAT 2015 FOR US ALL! :dance:0 -
It happens all too often with them - that's why I don't do those assignments anymore, I can't cope with the embarassment!
Bear in mind you're supposed to do these assignments alone though so if the client needs to question something on your report they may just bring this up and void the assignment completely! GAP are barstewards for rejecting assignments for this kind of thing.
Also - take the company name off your post - it's a breach of your confidentiality agreement with GAP!
Sorry to be a moaner0
