1 was and the others ones were for visits last week0

were these jobs you had 'applied' for as in were waiting for approval? If so it seems that if they decide not to give them to you, they just disappear from the schedule screen. I applied for a load of the call centre ones and most have just disappeared and some are still 'pending' but as of yet not got any of them. Really annoyed as how can i gain experience with them when nothing comes up in my area?!
Also, if I click on 'help' it says that I don't have enough privileges to view!Proud to be dealing with my debts:money:0 -
Yeah had to be assigned to me. It's just so frustrating, they are rare in my area also and if they don't even give me the easy ones it leaves me with nothing at all. Think they are a waste of time now to be honest0

I agree, not very well set out, the two jobs (in almost four weeks) anywhere near me were not even advertised in my county, i get invited to jobs and yet it doesn't let me self assign and i have to apply for everything.Proud to be dealing with my debts:money:0

I just had to register specifically to reply to these comments about BARE.
I'm concerned as to how they allocate their assignments. I registered with them a couple of weeks ago and passed their Basic training certificate. I have applied for over 20 shops and nothing has been allocated to me. My flatmate registered with them a week later than me and has not completed the training. However, we both applied for the same assignment and I applied two days before him. HE has been assigned the visit and I got nothing!!!
What on earth is their criteria for assigning visits? Whatever it is, I don't think it's very rational.
I much prefer the other mystery shopping agencies. BARE is a lost cause for getting any work in my humble opinion.0 -
I don't think they have a particular way. It's probably down to which email the allocators get to in their inbox first - I'm quite sure that registering to do an assignment does nothing more than raises an email to the allocators....
With BARE it's a catch 22 one - they won't give you an assignment until you're experienced and you can't become experienced until you get given some assignments!
I too hate working for them and only ever do the jobs when they're desperate....0 -

I find their search engine very hit & miss. If they have misspelled the town name when they enter it then you might even miss the job completely  . I wish they'd change it so you can search by postcode like RE does.
I don't search by area any more with Gap. I search by Client , and select the ones that have appeared since I last looked.
I only search by client too, but it's quite laborious compared to RE or TNS, where it's nicely laid out by county - ok you might have to search a few counties, but better than wading through all the mispelt places or ones just called High St, that you feel you better check, just in case it's your own high street!0 -

Really, wow, I think Bare are great. I keep getting calls to do their visits. I think I applied for one and got it straight away. And cos I got a high rating, they keep bugging me to do more. ** I think TNS are wicked though. Their visits are fun. ** Anyone know how long it takes for ABA to get back in touch? I applied about 3 months ago and haven't heard a thing off them. Thanks.0
