You have to go onto the website and check - theres a link on the right saying something like 'click here for visits in your area' and from there you can look in other areas too. There's new stuff on there today ;)

Has anyone done any work for Mystery Outsource? I joined a while ago, but when I log in there are never any jobs for me to look at. Do I need to contact them?

    TIA

From what I understand Mystery Outsource "source" field workers for other companies. I have done some bare shops through them, and also had some other companies jobs e mails from them. Saying that they also do coffee shops. They send you e mails with available work so I don't check their site!

I have noticed most site have become very busy these days especially GFK.

With RE can you only take a maximum 3 jobs? I was just wondering because since i've had 3 active its not let me accept anything else, even things which obviously weren't taken when I clicked them as they are still there now and I clicked them at lunch.

Well I've only done one pizza delivery and I didn't ask for a receipt!
However I did get a c/card receipt and used the info from that and they still paid me. :)

The only tip I can suggest is perhaps having a checklist when you're making the call; stuff like:
    Time call started:
    No. Rings:
    Name:
    Upsell Y/N
    Farewell Y/N

That way you should get everything down whilst you're on the phone. Give it a go and I'm sure it will be fine for you.

Re claiming purchases against tax, what I do (whether or not its correct is another matter!) is if its a "we reimburse to £5, spend more if you wish", then if I spend £10, I'll claim the £5 - regardless of if I'll use the item or bin it. If it's a "spend more than £5", then I go through the receipt and claim the amount where the first time the running total of items exceeds £5. (If that makes sense?).

There is no total maximum once you are out probation. However you can sometimes only accept a certain number of jobs from the same store/company. I accepted 2 phone calls when they were on teh other day then couldn't view details of any more despite being able to see them in the available list - as you were limited to 2.

Then today they had some booze shops on and I got 2, then the rest diappeared, because again you can only have 2 from the same "batch"

    HTH ;)

    Hi Guys,

Don't know if this is allowed so sorry if I have broken any rules but my rep has just emailed me to say she has been let down by a shopper and has three assignments very urgent for this weekend in Chichester W Sussex.

One is for a well known upper class shoe shop ( your voice comes back as an - - - - ) The other is for two upper class ladies clothes shops first name begins L. Payment is £16 first and £8.50 each the second. Anyone who can help please PM me so I can put you in touch. Thanks Everyone

I see - perhaps you beat me to the booze shops, I clicked them all and didn't get any :rotfl: I only got one of the calls too so I thought that was all I was allowed.

Thanks for clearing that up! I am new and have at least one question a day.

I got my first Gap begging call today too :p
