Did anyone get this email today:

"We have some of our best restaurant assignments available in your area and we would like you to have them.

These restaurant assignments are our premium jobs and we need someone that will read the paperwork, order from the assignment selection and not only make sure they get their receipt, but also make sure they have the correct receipt!

That is why we are asking you!!"

Well if they are so extra special PREMIUM and important then why don't they pay us for it!!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I got that email too - probably along with loads of other people!

Aaaaargh is it my pc or why cant I log on in RE on Firefrox. Didn't help when I phoned and the girl said "What is Firefox" I said a browser and she went ooohhh whats that.

And I made a muck of the MS as the scenario said to say I had lost my mobie. 2 secs in and my mobie rang and he said "Looks like you found it" Then I got the red carpet treatment> Ugh.

    Hi all,
regards A and L account all I do is pay £500 in at the start of the month and then when it clears I just move it back to my other current account. It does not state that the balance has to be £500.Done this for over a year now and have never paid the £5 monthly charge.

Had a good one yesterday, did a gfk job at the address stated only to find it was the wrong shop.Took a photo to prove I was there and emailed them.
Got an immediate reply stating they would pay me the £15 fee and apologised for wasting my time.

Best 15 seconds of wasted time.

Lisa who was the girl running the job told me they check the addresses on google business before posting them out and do find the the clients are the ones who make the mistakes.

Has anyone else had a wasted time job that paid well.

Had a stamp shop today which went well & fee not too bad, then a Credit Card one with another MS company & no sign of the Rep in the Store, so as per instructions, went back a bit later and still no sign of anyone.

I asked if a Rep was in today & was told no, so £20 for basically just browsing around!! Not bad!:j

    OMG!

How awful.... I'd hate to be in this situation - I don't do phone shops anymore as they have the potential to be excruciating if they go wrong as yours did as they'll fall over themselves to do the right things!

Does anyone know why Gap sometimes refuse you instantly for a job?

I have been refused for two similar jobs (Competitor food ones), with the same MS place that I have already got two jobs(non competitor but the actual company) As they not the same should I be able to take them?

I hope thats not too confusing!

I asked this question as I had been turned down (for the second time in a row) for a competitor pizza job - i was told it was becasue the job had been taken in the time it took me to put it in my basket then complete the request for it.

I guess these ones go much quicker than the actual pizza jobs - I'd certainly rather do those ones!

I have thought about that happening and decided if that did ever happen to me I'd say I was just borrowing my Mum's until I got a new one cos I couldn't bear to be without one or something

I use firefox too but don't have any problem with RE, but I always have to use IE for gap. I definitely prefer firefox, but its so annoying having to switch from one to the other!

Has anyone had the problem I had this week. I didn't get my fee from OC. I rang them and it turned out they had accidentally switched part of the sort code round the wrong way. I rang my bank and the bloke more or less said "Well there's no way we can trace it as it has probably been paid into someone else's a/c so unless they ring and own up to receiving money they weren't expecting it's just tough luck.

I rang OC back and they were horrified as on a further check by them my bank had returned this money to OC a month ago and the accounts girl said the bank MUST have had a record of this and funds which cant be matched with customer name a/c number and sort code are always returned to the BACS sender and she doesn't understand how the bank gave me this !!!! and bull story.

I am tempted to phone my bank ( been with them since 1972!!!) and tell them I am taking my overdraft elsewhere. And I have a good mind to invoice them for the interest.

I'd probably also be quite annoyed that OC have had your money for a month since it was sent back but never contacted you to check your details and let you know so they could actually get it to you!
