It's just anything you felt that the store could have improved on, even something you have already mentioned but want to highlight again.

Could be the staff - not saying hello/goodbye, chewing gum, missing name badge

Could be the environment - litter on the floor, missing SEL's, items out of stock

Could be the prices - the store next door had a good Christmas sweets promotion advertised in the window, so under normal circumstances you'd have gone in there for your sweets.

    and so on!
Here I go again on my own....
  • Thanks Becles - not had many shops recently but I've managed to bag three for today, so I want to make a good impression!!

Been trying to download Office Accounting Express 2008 but it doesn't seem to be working when I click download now????

Anyone else tried it and this happened?

    Thanks

What's happening to it? When I tried (one of the times!) it kept going back to the bit where it asks you to put in your email address - just keep clicking through that bit and it should eventually work....

I'd be interested to hear your feedback on it if/when you download it!
  • Thanks Timmne, I had that problem and tried it 3 times and then gave up!! So I will ive it another few goes later and let you know what I think when it gets d/l!

    Thanks Timmne.

I got turned down by tns. Are they fussy or am I no good lol. Is it worth me applying again, or is it not that sort of thing and if they turned me down once, they'll turn me down every time?

Don't worry, Jayne (and Tim!) - I believe that TNS are very strict on the numbers of shoppers they have in any one area. It's probably more about that than about the fact that your application wasn't right.

Coffee shop question for all - what do you do about the 10 minute thing - how are you supposed to spend 10 minutes in the store BEFORE buying a take away drink? I'm thinking about buying a coffee to drink in and drink it before buying a take-away one! :/

Thats what I do. Unless the queue is rather long and you are in it for near on 10 minutes, then you can say you were in the shop for 10 minutes. (I hope.) It is a hard one. You could look like a right nugget standing there looking around:rotfl:

The coffee shop that I visit has two floors, so I go upstairs and read, or play with my phone for the 10 mins. I sometimes see staff upstairs and sometimes don't. I think that it depends on how big the coffee shop is that you are visiting, and what you can do to pass the time away.
