I saw someone in **A Shop** today taking lots of photos of the fruit and veg with a camera phone. Would he have been a mystery shopper? He was very casually dressed and not at all subtle about what he was doing. It seemed strange. Anyone know what he was doing?

    Perhaps he was auditing?

Anyone else get this really nice (sorta kiss-a$$) email from GAP?

Maybe they're starting to realise no one wants them for the pittance of a fee they usually offer :P

    LOL, it made me laugh!

"These restaurant assignments are our premium jobs"

    Ermm...then why no premium fee??

Probably. He was pretty scruffy for someone doing a job though.

Don't suppose you noticed if he was wearing a badge? Every time I've done an audit you have to wear a visitors badge.

Didn't see one although I didn't look that closely. Are there auditing companies that operate like mystery shopping companies, i.e. where you're freelance and just sign up for jobs as you feel like it?

    Hey everyone.

I haven't received the email from Gap as I still haven't heard back from them despite applying twice! Oh well!

Just a quick question though if you don't mind, is everyone on here using an accounting package to work out profits for tax returns? I was going to use a spreadsheet but in earlier posts this is warned against - why is that? Any help would be much appreciated - feel free to PM me if this is clogging up the thread!

    Thanks :A
