    Hi

I started reading all these forum pages the other day about ms. I contacted TNS and filled out the form, got a rejection through today. I queried why aparently I got 74% and needed 80%, any ideas how I can get the 80%? Also can you join more then one ms site? I am desperate to earn some extra money.

    Thanks
    K

Yes, read the first post and apply for those listed on there - nothing to stop you applying to as many as you like.

You need to check and double check all your grammar, spelling and punctuation, which seems to be where quite a few people fall down.

There's a couple of jobs on RE at the moment for an electrical goods retailer. It looks like a reveal shop, where after they've rung everything up in the till, you tell them who you are and don't pay for it.

Has anyone done any of these before? What kind of response did you get from the shop assistants after they've gone through the whole selling process, thought you were going to buy it and 95% completed the transaction?

The ones on there are a bit too far away for me to make it worthwhile, but not sure if one came up nearby I'd feel too awkward to do it!

I've done some of these, and although it sounds strange - remember who you are! You're a mystery shopper and particularly after you've told them this, then they're going to be nice to you, aren't they? So has never been a problem.

I was wondering if anyone else has had any problems getting paid for assignments done for Frontline Focus, or if anyone has done work for them with no problems?
When I accepted my assignment I queried the method of payment because I'd had no details about it and was told I'd be paid by cheque on 10th of month following completion.
I gave them a couple of weeks for the cheque to come before emailing to query it.
The response i received was from someone different and said it had been sent on 25 March and 'must have gone missing in the post' and could I confirm I had definitely not received it. Emailed back to confirm cheque not received and reply was an email asking me to complete a direct debit form - but the form wasn't actually attached.
I replied saying that I'd rather they just sent another cheque.
Have just had a very strange phone call from them where the woman contradicted herself several times, first telling me that they usually send the cheques on 25th then telling me that they don't usually pay by cheque, then telling me that if they cancel the cheque it costs them £25 and they won't send a replacement for six months.
Apart from the obvious questions -
how can you send me pay if I complete a direct debit form?
Either you pay by cheque or you dont
Either you pay £25 to cancel the cheque or you make me wait 6 months till it can't be cashed, but not both
The woman I spoke to wasn't even sure which shop I did my assignment in.

I just generally feel that they have no idea what they're doing and am not happy that, whether its by cheque or bacs (she finally sent the email with the correct attachment and its not a DD at all) I will still have to wait till 25th of this month for it to be processed.

Although its not a large amount (£5 fee and £2.99 for my purchase) its still money that I'm out of pocket plus time I haven't been paid for.

Would like to know if anyone else has any experience with this company.

I did a phone reveal last month (different company & client), and it was OK really....although I was shaking whilst I dialled!

When I got through, I spoke to a lady who ignored me (avoided eye contact & walked away) when I entered the premisies, and I asked to speak to X, but was told he was busy. I asked her to pass the message on that I was a MSer and that he should ignore the arrangements we had made.......the phone went quiet! (I think she wished she hadn't ignored me then!) Mr X suddenly walked through the doors after I said "MS", so I was put onto him.....basically he just said "right", "OK", "yes"..... as I spoke to him. Everything was fine :)
