hi folks a little bit of advice required.
I have done my quota of five assignments for gap for the month(im a newbie)
but loads of jobs have come up in my area and i know for fact nobody is taking them.
Do you think there would be any point in phoning and asking them to waive the five job rule so that i could do the assignments, and thus do them a big favour:D .
By the way anytime i do phone i get a fax machine noise or an internet noise i havent got through yet.
Is there anumber i should be ringing that i dont know about.
Thank you all
They don't do phone numbers. If you want to contact them you'll have to send them an email. :mad:0 -

ABA are a nightmare so far. Registered last week and no jobs at all. Called up today and given a different link; registered again and - no jobs at all, even though he told me the list of jobs that are on there.
Will call up once more next week, but seems like too much work to be honest.
Let us know how you get on please - I too have been trying for months to work out how one is supposed to bag a job from them!0 -
I usually get an email from them, or when I go to my home page I click on other for the area search, then fill in my area and surrounding. That is how I find the jobs. They never show up in my local search, so always click on other for your search.0

It would be silly if you got sacked because you wrote a bad report about a company! What't the point in a company in asking for mysery shopping surveys if they cannot stand criticism?
The two times that I have supposedly 'sussed' as a mystery shopper is when I wrote reports about bad customer service.
My question would be: "If you knew I was a mystery shopper, why did you give me such bad service?"0 -
There are rumours about MS companies sacking people for giving bad reports.
I have NO inside knowledge about how MS companies work, apart from the fact that I am a long-standing and valued (I believe!) MSer. However, I would be suspicious of any report which was all bad. My own theory is that if I have to write a bad report I make sure I make special comment about any part of the visit or service which was good, so that the companies can have confidence that I am not writing a vindictive report about any venue or person.
I have never had a 'perfect' visit, and never a visit without ANY redeeming qualities. If the visit is really dire I try really hard to spot something nice. I may even tell the company I have done this 'At this point in the visit I was really unhappy, and tried to find something in the venue which had been done well. I am glad to report that the flower arrangements at the bar were good quality, and lifted the gloomy atmosphere slightly.' That sort of thing....:rolleyes:Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -

I've been registered with them since last summer and only ever had 2 emails from them to say there was work available. And I've only done one job for them which was for a clothes shop for larger ladies. Was paid by Gift Voucher which came through the post about a week after I'd submitted my report.
I'm staying registered with them but aren't expecting too much. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I registered with Aba last October and didn't hear anything for a few weeks then got invited to a training morning in December. They email me a run of jobs for one company and they now have a new website which is really easy to use. Since the end of january i've done 11 jobs for them plus they pay petrol costs which is def a bonus.:j I also find them really helpful when it comes to filling out the reports.0
