Whole fish OK?

Well that's just a poor attitude to have on a money saving forum if your not willing to spend even 10 minutes preparing the food or even a few minutes emailing them to get a refund. The OP didn't even go back into the store they have contacted them online and got offered £10 worth of points with minimal effort and certainly didn't need to take it back.AW618 said:
No, it isn't worth that. I don't want to do it, therefore I won't. If I wanted chicken, opened the package and found it was fish I would throw the fish away, without any worry about "wasting the food". I am not going to put myself out to salvage somebody else's mistake. In reality I would just throw it away and not ask for a refund, because the time it would take me to go to the shop and ask for one is worth far more to me than the price of the fish, but if you did want to complain then good luck with complaining about something you have already eaten. What would you plan to do, take back just the fish guts to prove they were in there?Takmon said:Well if you end up with a fish that needs gutting then it's worth spending a couple minutes watching a video and doing it so then you can actually eat it otherwise your just going to throw it away which is such a waste!. Obviously you would still expect a refund in that case but to just throw perfectly good food away because you are unwilling to prepare it is ridiculous.2 -
OP take on board the points and learn how to gut a fish.
OP you should have asked to have it gutted, not sure why you wouldn't ask get it gutted.0 -
I am terribly sorry. Perhaps you can give a list of the attitudes which you allow, so people who don't share all your beliefs can avoid posting here. I presume you own the forum.Takmon said:Well that's just a poor attitude to have on a money saving forum if your not willing to spend even 10 minutes preparing the food or even a few minutes emailing them to get a refund. You do realise that the whole purpose of a forum is for people with different opinions on a subject to have discussions and a good discussion happens when each person gives the reasons for their point of view and why they may agree or disagree with certain points.AW618 said:

I can never understand people like you who seem to think it's a problem when people don't share the same opinion on a subject.0 -

That's how it should be of course, but in essence there are those that live on these forums that have a certain arrogance about them and a very nasty nature who have a tendency to snipe and get snippy and believe it is they that own the forums. Present company on this thread accepted.

You do realise that it was you telling me my post was the "wrong attitude for this forum", yes? You have just argued against yourself. Well done.Takmon said:

No i said "that's just a poor attitude to have on a money saving forum" (if you use quotations marks then your supposed to quote the actual textAW618 said:

) and i explained why i had that opinion in the following sentences of that post.
You then replied sarcastically saying i shouldn't have made a comment like that unless i owned the forum, when instead you could have replied in a logical manner explaining why you disagreed with the points i was making.
The fact that your reply was entirely sarcastic and didn't dispute any of the points i made shows that you got a bit annoyed because you were unable to come up with a rational argument.

I never said you should or shouldn't say anything. I asked you what you think is a good attitude for this forum. I know it's called "Money saving expert" but it has many sections, including consumer rights, employment law, housing advice and others. If you want to have logical arguments put against you you need to do something more than assert your opinion. Why should this forum not have posts in it from people who don't spend every waking moment trying to save 50 pence at the expense of hours of their time? Make some sort of a case and I will reply. And "but it's called Money Saving Expert" is a bad argument, so something other than that, please.Takmon said:
