You don't need to be boggled, nor does it matter when they contacted the lease firm.
Just use the appeal for 'ABC company', written by Edna Basher and linked in the NEWBIES thread in the section about company/lease cars.
Click on Edna's examples till you find the one written for a company. BTW, we will not post a link here to something already linked in the pinned sticky thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I don't understand the problem. You are not liable for the charge because the NTK arrived too late for the scammers to transfer liability from the driver to the keeper, so only the driver can be held liable.
However, you seen to be obsessed with self destruction by telling the scammers who was driving in a raft of posts for the whole world to see, and are willing to pay the scammers who are trying to scam you.
You have been given advice on how not to pay this but have continuously ignored that advice. We can only help you so far, but if you really want to be likened to a turkey who is looking forward to being the centrepiece of a midwinter feast, then we can't stop.
Throwing your money down a drain would actually be better than perpetuating the scam by paying the scammers.

Our car is a lease car - but the PCN is address to our company but addresses us as Registered Keeper. So we have no way of knowing when they contacted the lease company to find our details. Which bit of legislation is this in breach of as I'm mind boggled? Thank you in advance. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
