I would like to thank you for making that post
please dont forget
Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully, when life gets back to normal, it will become impossible for those scammers who are left to continue their vile trade, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

Anyway, thanks on here are akin to likes on facebook, imho. Not worth the paper they written on. Also they arent refrenced anyway so the credence given is down to the invidual reading rather than a concensous of regular users.
As an aside, capitals eh? This guy means business.0 -
On some of the fluiffy forums people were getting hundreds of thanks for posts about alternative uses for pipe cleaners. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

I thank posts primarily to indicate to the OP 'I'd take this advice'. And occasionally 'cos they're amusing or whatever. I watch out for social media programming - I like getting thanks but do realise that if it contributes to my sense of self-worth then I'm stuffed & need to get a life as a matter of some urgency.
Anyway, glad the button is back, it's okay, no biggie but useful-ish.4 -
I use my huge number of thanks to prove to Nos that my posts have merit when he accuses me of misleading people. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
