Chloris - just a thought but as your DD is doing a food GCSE would it be useful to have a separate budget for that which you can put in something each month so it's there when you need to buy stuff for it?  I have separate pots for absolutely loads of things, it's all kept in one account but I keep track of what amount is for what on YNAB but could easily be done on a spreadsheet.

That's a good idea! Thank you.

Last spend for June was £21.52 at the butcher, £13.35 at Adli and £25.05 at Sains.  The last shop includes a pack of wash pods that were on offer, so will last a couple of months.

Declaring £514.62/£400 so well over budget again. Need to reign in the spending. Not sure if prices have increased this month but we've been getting free school meals for 9 days now so that should be reducing our spends. Going to plan July today so hopefull we can keep our spends low.

No idea if I actually signed up this month but I've been trying it anyway...
£164.66 out of a budget of £162 so £2.66 over. It was all going so well until the yesterday when I deceided to try out my local zero waste shop! I also saw bread flour (elsewhere) for the 1st time since lockdown began too so I bought some (which accounted for £2.58 of the £2.66 overspend.) :D
See you over on July's challenge...

    So we end €70 over

i can explain most of it away due to my husband damaging his mouth and needing liquid or soft foods. He went and bought what he wanted and I picked up a few things he requested.
