That is a positive step forward.I accept due to your lack of knowledge around apple products it means that you don’t agree that a iCloud locked iPad has zero value but unfortunately that is the case and as Very reported to the OP if they didn’t unlock the iPad it would be destroyed.Thankfully the OP has resolved the situation by deleting the iPad and I am sure will soon receive a full refund!1
