You've missed the banter in the other Bitcoin thread. It adds context and is really where most of our to-and-fro occurred. This was just in reply to him calling me a bagholder after my first post on the forum back when it was $8k in 2020. The thread was dead so I should probably have let it lie. My bad.

Funny this thread came back up today as I withdrew some from Coinbase that I invested five years ago. My original investment (three figures) is now 10x so took half out and left the rest to see what happened.
I am far from an expert and well aware it could still keep rising but wanted to take some profit out to help with Christmas (unemployed at moment) so thought it was a good idea. It's risen a lot since Trump's victory but at some point I assume that will stop and it'll calm down!0
