OP needs an app. We have a tree here that neither of us could ID in 10 years. My son in law held his phone up and announced what it was in around 10 seconds! (American Black Walnut, which hasn't fruited.)

Do they require cross pollination? Just a thought.

Yes, maybe; it's old enough. I 'm not worried if it doesn't fruit, but if it had, it would have been a good clue. Quite a few odd trees inherited here, including a Wild Service Tree, (Sorbus torminalis)which fooled us all by staying small for years and then suddenly shooting up and outwards (ultimately about 60'-70')

Yep definitely looks like mine. App also says it's the best candidate. And I definitely do not like it..

I'm still trying to work that out from the list of suspects, but none of their mug shots fit! The problem with common names is that there will be several for one plant, or one for several plants
I'm growing Papalo this year, but even now I'm not sure exactly what I'll get......Bolivian coriander, allegedly. :|

I thought it looked liked Culantro.
I stand by 3 being forgetme not, I think the leaves look wrong to be Omphalodes.

I do also use picture this, I didn't need it for 3 or 4 though.

Ah, it does look like Culantro, but you said Mexican coriander, which gets us into the whole South American coriander substitute thing. But even some plants people call Culantro are actually Cilantro. Anyway, I've not grown it, but I like the look of it for another year. Right now, I'll stick with my Papalo, which might well turn out to be the Quilquina I last grew in 2016.
I've already agreed Omphalodes was wrong.

After reading a bit more yeah it seems most of these guys are ash saplings. They agree with the rapid growth beahvior I have witnessed in the past year. I don't want my normal sized garden to be an ash forest, so I will dig them out -- don't like to do this but I prefer it to the other option.
I might re-plant one in the front garden maybe.. or not.
