HSBC feeder account

I applied for the feeder account 5th May 2 weeks later completed the application and nothing since, got an email from Experian last week to say they did a credit check on me on 19th May which they’re not supposed to. I phoned up last week and was told they are inundated but in all honesty people who are applying that already have a business bank account are receiving loans within 24 hours that’s not a sign of a bank that’s behind with things -

Banks are allowed to do credit checks as part of an account opening process. When you apply for the Bounce Back loan, checks are then limited to fraud and anti money laundering checks.

anyone can tell how do we apply for feeder account?
i cant apply online because it doesnot give an option neither tells where to post the forms?

Ring customer service and listen to all the blah blah blah and then press the option for a new account

Hi Lisa,  I've just done the call today, what kind of a search was it, hard or soft?

This worries me as I think it will be the banks way of not lending. My credit file took a hammering single starting as a Sole trader  so I doubt I will get the account now

Initial call for me then a hr appointment on the laptop and phone

Hi There - today had application for feeder account declined only taken just under 3 weeks !!!

I had the phone call on the 18th May took about 1 hour as previously mentioned - apparently my application was declined because of a credit check.

Not one to pry, but is there anything you can think that's obvious as to why they would. 

My credit score is poor at moment so I'm guessing I'm looking at the same fate
