HSBC feeder account

Hi guys

Applied 9 days ago now for HSBC feeder account to access BBLS but still haven't heard anything, has anyone actually heard back from them??

    I applied on Tuesday the 5th. Got a call the next day to book appointment  had the phone call on the 7th and went through everything. Had all the forms signed the same day. Didn't hear anything until 1am on Saturday saying that its all signed and nothing else since
  • Hi there I got through on the phone last Wednesday the 6th, didn't have a an appointment as such, do you need an appointment to open a feeder account? I just gave my details and they said it should be opened in five working days. Is the call appointment for the bounce back loan? P.s no word back as yet. Thanks for any info

    The initial call you made was to apply. You should get a call back from an account manager to take you through the forms you need to fill in. Then they send all the forms to sign

    I rang on the 6th also. Went through the questions for the feeder account and as yet, have not heard anything back. I’ll post on here when anything happens 
  • Hi all like you I went through the initial call on Monday the 4th at 10am during this call I was asked my name, business name ect and then was informed I would receive a email, this never came, I waited and waited then Monday I got a ca from HSBC to ask me to have a conference call the following morning, this call came and a very helpful chap walked me through the online account portal that you log in to online 2hrs later all forms completed and I signed my agreement digitally. Before the call ended I asked the man what happened now and I was told "I am sorry but I do not know but you will get a call from either the bank or the government, I found this very strange considering I was on phone to a manager from corporate accounting either way I pressed the chap on phone to get some answers but as best he could explain the fact is we are just going to have to wait, what I do know is that I have an agreement in my email for the ammount I want to borrow all signed and sealed and still know account number or access to cash. Please hsbc and the government you asked me to shut my doors and cease trading on the understanding I will be looked after, this does not feel I am being looked after in fact I feel you have destroyed my lively hood and business, I have 2 weeks max before I close shop for good and lose what I built up for my children.

    The amount you said on the phone and what states on the portal is not the application for the loan. That is just a question they ask about how much will be transferred when opening the account. Once we receive our feeder accounts we then have to apply for the bounce back loan

    HSBC are a total waste of space.  I applied for a feeder account right at the start of the BBBL being released as my main business account (Metro) was  not and remains still not accredited despite saying they would be ready by 11th May 2020.....

    I've chased HSBC, been promised a call back, been told it has been escalated....in the end I gave up and told them to withdraw my application for a feeder account.  How they got accredited in the first place is beyond me......

    What is frustrating is that small businesses are being penalised due to their choice of bank.  Also, some businesses are applying and receiving multi-BBBLs when so many of us can't even get one.....

    I forgot to add, the British Business Bank are useless too, I raised this with them and they came back with an irrelevant canned response not addressing the fact that many small business "aren't able" to apply.  Rishi needs to tackle this with expediency.

    What I'd also like to understand is why Metrobank are yet to be accredited when Starling, who applied after them got accredited pretty quickly.  What is going on......
