Does anybody have BT TV - Does it work OK

I've got a BT T400 UHD box and didn't even realise it had a fan.  I've never heard it.  It's on an enclosed shelf under my TV, and stands on the Blu-Ray player.

Yes it works ok but has the same rubbish as everyone else.

Agree apart from BT Sport i don't use BT Max TV .Daft had to have Max TV to get a cheap BT Sport HD/ UHD deal .

Generally unwise to stack such items which produce heat when in operation. Both of these items require adequate ventilation all around.  Expect problems with your Blu-Ray player going forward...

The BT you view box is terrible compared with virgins v6, be aware that without a good free view signal, it won't work. Ok most people have that, but some wont.

My boxes have ventilation and space all around, but I've never had an overheating problem or even heard a fan. Maybe because I can't remember the last time I used ther Blu-Ray player.

My sister had the Virgin V6 box and it was a horrible, clunky thing. She changed to a YouView T2100 box (my old one) earlier this year when she swapped from Virgin to BT broadband, and she says it's a much nicer box to use.

Had a Youview box with Plusnet, once we started using NOW tv did not really watch tje channels. I did find there was interferance with the box and had to fix a ferrite ring to remove the flicker. Is similar to the large plastic tube on many hdmi cable, usb cables etc Youview can be provided by Plusnet, BT or Talk Talk. Plusnet TV does not have there own store or catch up service that BT have though.  Do a channel audit to compare between SKY, Youview and now tv. You can watch live tv on Now  as well as catch up. also don't forget you will oose any recordings on SKY TV box and channels once you cancel.
