I've had 0.83p in the account for ages. Most of my spare money was going into my flexible ISA until that reduced to 0.85%. just moved the last £4000 from that today to Marcus plus a matured regular saver. Just collecting the last of the crumbs until the end of the month. Once the rate goes down I will have a 0.1 bonus until December.

I'll use £5000 of the money in Marcus each month to transfer into my Santander Lite to feed my regular savers/ DDs. When each RS matures I'll do the reverse.

I get times are tough but yet another rate cut in such a short space of time?

Bet they won't be quick to raise them when things improve!

..disappointing but not unexpected, I have just moved some of my Santander money across, but at least I managed to get most of it into their 1 yr saver at 1.4%. May as well put it all in NSI monthly income bond now?...at least until that rates drops!
(..and no more DD's to worry about)

You organise something one day and think Right that's that sorted out for a while; three days later things change. It's hard to keep up.
I went for fixed rates as it was clear they were all dropping. You pays your money...
