Marcus Rate Reduction

Email received to advise Marcus rate going down to 1.05% from 30th May. Noticed that its now at that rate on their website. Put this in a new thread as a lot of us have this account.

    I've still got the 0.15% bonus until August, but even so...

    Might have to open another Bank of Scotland Vantage. I've got some spare direct debits lying around!

    I wonder if they have had a sudden influx of funds in after they didn’t cut by as much as others the first time around and so they are at risk of breaching the £25bn limit when they have to ringfence the UK retail operations

    Yes they have, I opened one on Monday with £50, ready to transfer the rest of my instant access cash. Oh dear !
