Ooh Mr moneybags! £20 might be nothing to you but it's a lot of money for normal people.

Typical PCP excess mileage charge is around 10p per mile apparently.
Calculated from when the car is delivered to your door.

It'd cost £25 to file an online small claim to recover £20, so I don't think it's that.

But unless the OP actually comes back (I bet they won't), we've got no idea about what's happening.

Are you sure. Often they will use something like that as a demo car. Especially if it's a nice colour, it's a good money spinner for them.
My car is a special order paint colour. But was just stood in the showroom screaming buy me. Special order often equates these days too "Stood in a field"
Funnily enough my ruby red Focus is a special order paint colour, it was the only one I could find for sale in the whole of the UK and it was a Ford dealer (TC Harrison at Spalding - highly recommend) selling it as their ex-demo car. I'd already decided I was buying it before I got in my car to travel the 150 miles to see it. Fortunately I was able to reign in my enthusiasm enough to turn down all the "extras" they tried upselling, athough to be fair to them they did say the service plan was a bit pointless given the distance, Did manage to haggle a few hundred quid off too and they had no problem about me putting £100 on my credit card for the old Section 75 and paying the rest by bank transfer.

What the OP does need to decide is how much he is claiming. The court is unlikely to be able to decide that for him.
