Nobody has won anything until the application to set aside judgment has been heard. If the dealership are successful, the clock will be rewound and they’ll be allowed to file an Acknowledgement of Service and a fully pleaded Defence.

Fred246, you may profess to know about motoring but it’s clear you know next to nothing about civil litigation and the Court process.

Please ignore the North Korean dictator. He appears from time to time on the forum and does a bit of dictating. As if he hasn't done enough at home.

So what is it I’ve said that you think is legally incorrect?

I have no idea, I'll let the Court decide that amount.

But I thought you'd already issued a claim and had won a default judgment because the defendant didn't respond.  Didn't you specify your loss in your particulars of claim?  If you don't tell the court what you've lost, how can it decide how much to award you?

    (You didn't forget did you?)

OP, I'd also take what Fred says with a large pinch of salt.

The car is unlikely to be a pre-registered car. It has a special order paint colour from factory. You rarely see this colour on this car.
Are you sure. Often they will use something like that as a demo car. Especially if it's a nice colour, it's a good money spinner for them.
My car is a special order paint colour. But was just stood in the showroom screaming buy me. Special order often equates these days too "Stood in a field"

A car with a higher mileage is worth less than a car with lower mileage.
Not for just 200 miles difference.

Typical PCP excess mileage charge is around 10p per mile apparently.

Are you saying the OPs car is worth £20 less than he paid?  (200 miles extra)  if so hardly worth going to court for
