Slippers from Poland

I placed an order - on-line for a pair of slippers from Poland - two weeks ago today - they have not yet been delivered - I have had slippers from them before and they arrive within 3 days !

They, normally come by air - but, according to the company - Covid19 has meant that they come by other methods - presumably ship/lorry ?

How long should I give them, before I complain ?

3 weeks is about right .

But you should check Polish Consumer Laws .

Is it just me who remembers "allow 28 days for delivery" as being the norm when you ordered things mail order within the UK? If you choose to import stuff from Eastern Europe during a global pandemic, I would allow a bit longer before complaining about delivery times.

Did it say anything about delivery delays before you ordered?

Has the company said they've been dispatched?

Have they said how they have been/will be dispatched?

You really can't (sensibly and reasonably) complain about the difference in delivery performance between pre-Covid-19 and now.

Especially from overseas.

A lot of space on flights is used for cargo.

And how many flights are there now compared to when you last ordered...?

To be serious I have found a lot of things are taking at least twice as long as I would expect to arrive and they are sent from the UK.

Agreed.

I think people need to be realistic and adjust their expectations.

I ordered something from Trespass (the outdoors company) and it took over 2 weeks to arrive by Parcelforce.
