Horizon Parking fine for driving in and out of Sainsburys

I made a quick trip to Sainsburys in Stamford Hill on February 17th, The images they sent me of my car driving into the car park (head lights shown), then an image of me driving out of the car park (break lights shown). But they claim my car was parked there.
I have tried contacting them on numerous occasions, but their website, by phone and by email. BUT NO RESPONSE other than the letters demanding payment.
I resorted to printing off all emails sent and sending them with a letter via recorded delivery.
I finally got a response from them and it just stated that they had contacted me by email (even though they hadn't) and they cant deal with multiple appeals and then gave me the 24hr payment line details.
Im now in the process of writing another letter asking for a copy of the email they "supposedly" sent.
I dont want to pay a fine that shouldnt be a fine! What should i do?
Has anyone had any luck with actually getting through to these imbecile's

For how long was your vehicle there?Im now in the process of writing another letter asking for a copy of the email they "supposedly" sent.Don't write them a letter, send them a SAR to which they are legally required to respond.

Have you complained to Sainsbury's, they can get this cancelled
Have you read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, first post, yet?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

complain to the CEO of Sainsburys by email, that should have been your initial reaction and is still your best action even now

It is not a fine, it is an invoice from an ex-clamper to compensate them for the alleged harm they suffered when you did what you did. We call it a scam. Pay them not a penny unless a judge so orders it.
Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully, when life gets back to normal, it will become impossible for those scammers who are left to continue their vile trade, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

Fighting can be difficult and time consuming. It may take up to 6 years to conclude. You will need to research and may need write alot. You may be facing a trip to court. You will most likely repeatedly receive threatening letters from "legal" types and debit collectors. Do you want that?
The decision is yours.

Check out these 2 fairly recent posts re. Horizon & Sainsbury's. The first a quick cancellation by the manager (you can try the manager first then rapidly escalate to CEO if no joy) and the other a slightly rarer example of a successful first appeal:

As already advised, complain to the store manager and/or the CEO.
If you appealed (hopefully as keeper without blabbing about the driver's identity) using the appeal portal on the scammer's website, but have not received reply, then complain to the BPA. Even if they are short staffed and cannot currently deal with the appeal, they should at least have acknowledged the appeal.I married my cousin. The quoted poster is a regular in the Motoring board ... their posts tend to receive similar responses therein.4
