PCN from Horizon (BPA) - forgot to pay to park

I’ve read the sticky and seen the ‘one size fits all’ appeal template, just one question though...

My partner got a postal PCN from Horizon for 2 hours parked in our local town car park, was caught entering and exiting on camera but she did actually forget to pay to park that day :mad::mad::mad:

Will the ‘one size fits all’ email appeal still apply? Or should she just pay up as it was a genuine mistake?

You have two choices.

Pay an unregulated scammer or appeal.

If the former then you are on the wrong forum.
If the latter, then the "one size fits all" appeal template, well, fits all cases, but you shouldn't give the scammers any ammunition to help them win by giving them evidence they wouldn't otherwise have, either on here or during the appeal process.

I doubt Horizon have sent a POFA compliant NTK so check it against para 9.

Quick update guys, got an email saying the PCN has been dropped last week - there’s a surprise!

Thanks for your help all of you, and for anyone who stumbles on my post in the future, all I can say is FIGHT IT, it takes 5 minutes to do
