Physical valuations

Still waiting valuation was 27th :'(
Getting too anxious now. Apparently they are still awaiting bank statements that I sent back in march! And it's got lost.... 
But surely they wouldnt have done the valuation otherwise??

Nothing at all. I submitted my application on 23 March and almost 11 weeks nothing happens..... My MA must be sick of me by now but they can't do anything about the valuation. I was told two weeks ago that G&L will contact me to book a physical valuation..... nobody has called

Finally got my physical valuation done for Barclays, been waiting since early March. My mortgage offer came through today. However, I need to change to the product to get the latest rate, so still a bit more waiting. Hopefully that won't be a problem.

Congrats!!!!!!!!! I am really happy for you! Your nightmare is over and hopefully I can get my mortgage offer too. I am going to call L&G first thing in the morning and find out which surveyor they will allocate me to.

L&G said the EWS1 form is not enough. They are looking for a Fire Risk Assessment compliant with the Regulatory Reform Order (Fire Safety) 2005. I see a FRA  BAFE SP205 dated October 2018 in the building management pack so I have sent this. Anybody with a similar experience?

No written confirmation of what L&G needs as documentary evidence to do this evaluation, despite me chasing daily and Natwest promising to forward the request. I have logged a formal complaint yesterday covering their incompetence and poor service.

Finally got my mortgage offer last week since 23rd March
Had admin issues with documents uploading so had to escalate to the head office so all good! Exciting times.

We exchanged on the 12th June and completed yesterday 19th June.  super excited. I am loving my new house!!!.

My physical valuation was done last Thursdsy how long after did your morgage offer come through? Mine applications been with barclays just before lockdown so a right nightmare

Hi my physical valuation was done last Thursday also through Barclays. How long did you wait after the valuation until the morgage offer came through. It's just been a tough 12 weeks waiting..
