My tracker updated as valuation provides the required security for the mortgage late yesterday. Offer being issued. Hopefully we will be moved later this month 👍
Have you had your mortgage offer?

  • Valuation was done Tuesday, Natwest received it Wednesday. Broker reckons we will have the offer by the end of the week so fingers crossed we will get our offer tomorrow
  • Anyone have any experience of waiting times for Halifax? Money has been taken but heard nothing else yet.

How about Barclays, has anyone had any luck getting their physical valuation done? They seem to have gone radio silence on me.

My valuation was on Thursday, I called Natwest but was said that report was not received. I called e.surv and L&G and both told me that they had submitted the report on Thursday. I recalled Natwest and lady double-checked and said that report was not transferred from L&G to NatWest’s system. After few minutes she was able to get access to it. It was written that an EWS1 form is required to evaluate the flat as it is in a building above 18m. I emailed EA and was able to get the from within 15 minutes. I have sent it to Natwest, e.surv and L&G. Not sure why surveyor did not ask it directly to EA when he met him on Thursday.
L&G said the EWS1 form is not enough. They are looking for a Fire Risk Assessment compliant with the Regulatory Reform Order (Fire Safety) 2005. I see a FRA  BAFE SP205 dated October 2018 in the building management pack so I have sent this. Anybody with a similar experience?
