sorry to hear about the bulglary, certainly not something i would wish upon anyone at this time of year :(

No. it was a shame. He's at Uni now & in a shared house. It appears the smokers went outside & left the back door open so my home insurance, which would have covered it if it had been a forced entry was null & void. However, as you can imagine, the games & DVD's he's lost have been accumulated over the years & are worth much more than the conoles themselves.Lol..he even wrote his car off last month too..now I'm worried that things come in 3's!
  • Actually sazzywoo, I think Argos still have packages in..but they're expensive.

Easily, if some greedy oik places £500 in a building society account to earn a fast buck and dilute the share of the sale proceeds that would otherwise have gone to the genuine long standing investor like little Timmy's parents.

    :D

Sounds to me like you don't know the first thing about Carpetbagging:D
  • Sounds like tonight we have a few people jealous at the ebayers who made money:rotfl:

Jealous that they didn't think of doing it:rotfl:

Last time I looked we still lived in a capitalist not communist society. I have no problems with people going to the effort to find products that people want, then selling them at a profit.
We have a free market and buyers make their own choices. If they didn't want to buy a Wii at ebay prices they should have just not done so.
Well done to Sparky1664 for at least helping some people to get the Wii of their dreams.
You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.
  • I really must apologise for the Mrs.

She's the same at home. I really can't do anything with her. The great I am.

Always right, even when she's very wrong. Always better than everyone else. Gloating is her speciallity.

At least you only have to put up with her occassionally. I have to live with her, poor fool me!

Anyone interested in a Buy it Now, one wife, for well below recommended retail price?

:rotfl:excellent! like they've gone out of their way to do people a favour! :rotfl:
  • Having a quick look around... Argos, Sentit and microdirect all have stock, allbeit at what I consider rip off prices, best place to get one is ebay at the moment. Find someone local who accepts cash on collection and pay no more than £200. If collecting then that gives them £12 profit for the trouble of finding it in the first place.
