  • Amazon tips.

Using IE or Firefox, open all pages in tabs.

Open the Amazon product pages in tabs.
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/o/ASIN/B0007UATDG/202-1155444-2774221
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nintendo-Wii-Console-Billy-Wizard/dp/B000ZNQHHM
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0010R4238

Sign in to amazon, and ensure one-click ordering is on and setup
correctly with valid payment info for the address you are defaulting
to. Note that each delivery address in Amazon requires you to re-enter
payment details, it doesn't use default payment details for new
    delivery addresses.

Select express delivery for one-click orders, and sign up to Amazon
Prime if you're intending to get lots of toys from Amazon soon :)

Then keep both these two sites open for stock alerts
    http://www.!!!!!!!!!!!.co.uk/Wii-Stock-Alerts.aspx
    http://www.wii-consoles.co.uk/wii_console_realtime.asp

As soon as you have Amazon stock alters, f5 to refresh the amazon
product pages, until one click is shown. Click one-click order :)

The biggest problem is when the product page shows Amazon have stock
and but when you click the one click button, you get a message saying
    that "the product is unavailable".

At this point many people give up - don't! While on the page with the
"unavailable" message press f5 to refresh and "OK" to the "we will
resend the form data" message. Keep repeating this and eventually you
*will* get lucky. If you keep that page open for next time you see a
stock alert, then just f5 and "ok" to resend the one-click button, and
this will save valuable seconds having to load up the product page
    first.

    Hope that helps people... :)

    Happy Christmas.

On another forum I go on I was dismayed to read this tonight (hope its okay to C&P on here)
Have you bought anything off Ozone Electronics Ltd?

I paid Ozone Electronics Ltd £223.24 (by Paypal) on the 17/11/07 for a Ninetendo Wii. I have an electronic invoice to say they received my payment and yet I have no Wii. at the moment I'm very confused as I have a receipt to say Ozone received the payment, how can they now say they haven't received the payment when this money has gone straight from my current account, anyone any ideas whether I will get my money back?
Oh and while I'm here if anyone from Ozone Electronics Ltd is reading this, Have a really nice Christmas I know one family that won't, Thanks.

This is what I read at Ozone Electronics Ltd website Tonight.

    Wii in Stock at Dixons
Dixons have just released a single game Wii bundle with Mario Strikers Charged Football for £219.99. Mario Strikers is a great game and the first game to allow you to play against a friend or anyone else across the Internet.

Only that the prices on Ebay have gone through the floor and the poor saps holding out to make a killing in the week before Christmas are bricking it.

Most online stores last day for shipping in time for Christmas is Wednesday or Thursday. Royal Mail special delivery ship up until Saturday, so people who have listings on Ebay ending on Friday night and ship on Saturday will make a healthy profit.
  • Thanks v much for the advice, pimlico1974. By having those sites open (Wii-onsale and Wii Pre Order) and 1click ordering on I just managed to get a £179.99 order in on Amazon when one suddenly popped up, hooray!

It says it is "Sold by: Amazon EU S.a.r.L." but it was a regular Amazon purchase and not a Marketplace one, so I presume this is OK?

£214.99 with Paper Mario is back on there right now, too.
  • more people see this thread straight away rather than trawling thru an old one....

Hi, your purchase is direct from Amazon. The reason the EU SARL bit comes up is because Amazon are registered for tax purposes in Luxemborg. I would assume the SARL is simular to Ltd here.

Thanks for that too and just in time!
Used your delivery code and, quidco(2% perhaps) and EGG (5% Dixon discount and 3% cashback). Dixons EGG discount was only valid from 15-16, which has expired now but cashback remains.
I was not sure whether I wanted WII or PS3 but I have pulled the trigger now.
Cost was £209 and whatever cashback I get.

just had a wii stock update email saying wii in stock at dixons, various packages such as this one: Wii Console + Wii Sports + Mario Strikers - £219.99
Enter the code ******** at the checkout for free delivery hope this helps someone, merry christmas all:D

Codes are not allowed on this board... Read sticky at top of page

There has been a growth of Online Discount Vouchers or Codes being posted on the Grabbit Board. This is not the place for them.

Any online discount vouchers must be posted on the Online Discount Voucher board. They must also comply with the rules there - only this way are people protected from law suits and breaching terms and conditions.

I am sorry to be draconian, but having once had the might of Sainsbury legal department threaten this site because of these i need to protect the site. Having a specific board where the rules are prominently posted is how i do that.

If people continue to post online discount vouchers here, they will be removed and though i hate to do it, any persistent posters will have their access blocked from the site.
