  • Anyone thinking of ordering from www.bizits.co.uk please be careful is it looks like a scam despite having a very professional website.

See http://community.eu.playstation.com/showthread.php?t=168052 for a lot more details and note the people appearing to having received items are all new forum members! I'll let you draw your own conclusions!
Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!
  • If anyone is near Preston, Lancs - ToysRus have DS stock in. No wiis unfortunately.

We should have a competition to see who can guess to the nearest number how many posts there will be for this thread by 23.59 24/12/07.
The prize will be a Wii :rotfl:

But do you think the thread will end at Christmas? This thread (well the original one before it got too long:rotfl: ) was open well before LAST Christmas. I got my Wii last year with a mobile phone offer and followed the thread then with great interest and I really expected it to disappear once Christmas came and went, but it's been on the front page of this section of the forum most of the year.

I now have Wii no. 2 for another son (they live in different houses so not as bad as it sounds).

Its unlikely that proof of purchase isn't required otherwise there's nothing to stop people registering online once their 1 year retail warranty has run out.

If it is the same deal as Microsoft do. First choice is a reciept. If not then they try and do it off serial number and 1 year from when box was made (this would be good if Nintendo do it) - if not then it is 3 months waranty from registration.
  • www.pcworld.co.uk £34.99 + £4.95 p&p, still cheaper than Ebay. Product Code 087712.

    Code YAWDE7 gives 5% discount.

That could be bad news for anyone with a Euro Wii without receipt then some are 6 months old or more.
  • afternoon evryone, i know this thread is for just wii's. but could not find the one for the wii games

i have been after high school musical for the wii, for a good few weeks, and i managed to get one today!!

i have reserved one in another store in chatham kent, so if any of you want it, if you live close by just pm me and i will send you the details, of the shop,

i also have a stock report given to me on where else you can get them, so if you want to know, just pm me ( mostly around london)

i was going to put a list on the site, but i would like people who purely wants this for their kids to get it, rather than sell it on, on ebay

anyways there you go, hope this helps and makes sense
the more people i meet!! the more i like my dog !!;)

Wii Play = a Wii Remote Controller with mini games of :-

Play an updated version of the NES classic, Duck Hunt
    Table Tennis
    Laser Hockey
    Wii Billiards
    Fishing game
    Wii Pose
    Find Mii game

Wii Nunchuck is like a little "joystick" (I think that shows my age lol) that you plug into the bottom of your Wii remote so you can control items on screen with 2 hands doing different tasks.

For example in Wii Sports, the boxing game needs the Nunchuck attached so you can box with both hands, without the Nunchuck you wouldn't be able to play the boxing for 1 and 2 you would be knocked out.

Nunchucks are still available in alot of retailers, but Wii Play is rarer than the console itself due to it costing £35 rrp compared to a new remote on it's own of £30, so for £5 more you get the remote & some games in Wii Play.

    HTH.
 Smile, you only get one life, LIVE IT.

Actually the euro ones are not that old. They mostly have the newer D2C drivechips - the ones less desirable to certain people *cough* pirates :D
