  • :j You will not believe this. I've just checked back on the Amazon Vote Competition. I had of course voted for the Wii. It came second so it's 25% off, but I'm one of the 250 winners! Just successfully checked out my Wii with Sports for £135. I was so surpised I actually clasped my hand to my mouth when I saw it. Can't believe it.

    Make sure you all check back. Hopefully there will be more lucky MSEs out there and it doesn't go to scabby Ebayers.

    Good Luck. I'm thrilled to bits!:j

    The warranty is with Nintendo. A receipt is not needed. Inside the box is a card you can use & send it off to get the warranty. Alternatively, you can register on line using the PIN given on the registration card.

    (This is applicable to all PAL wii's whether bought in UK, Germany, France or wherever too.)
  • Just ordered a Wii with sports for £180.95 from w w w . b i z i t s . c o . u k This includes 1-4 day Royalmail delivery.
    I paid with my credit card through Paypal.
    Before anyone does the same please do your own research on this company as I have done then make up your own minds because even though this company has got some bad rep its also been written that people have got their stuff and some are just waiting on the rest of their order.

    AFAIK you need a receipt as proof of purchase even for the Nintendo warranty.

    EDIT: This is all I could find its for a SA, but its the same bar the service center details as printed in the UK manuals

    HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM
    •Important: All support queries and claims are managed by a customer care centre available at 0861 000 Wii. Due to centralized
    nature of the customer care centre, there is no mechanism to return faulty items to the original point of purchase.
    •To notify CGS of a defect covered by this warranty, please contact:
    •Nintendo Service Centre - 0861 000 Wii (0861 000 944)
    •When sending the product to the Nintendo Service Centre, please:
    •1. use the original packaging where possible;
    •2. provide a description of the defect;
    •3. attach a copy of your proof of purchase, ensuring that it contains the date of purchase of this product; and
    •4. ensure that a service reference number (receive from the Nintendo Service Centre) is clearly marked on the documentation.

    Thanks Sparky .. why are they selling Wii's on ebay with receipts then? Is it just to prove they have bought them from a particular place or do you get extended warranty?
