OK ... sorry about my outburst, but it was becoming obvious that certain people were here not to save money, but promote e-bay... and maybe themselves.

I have not named anyone.... they shot me down when I posted (what I considered) a reasonable statement about poor business practice.

No secret as far as I can tell! Like you I had been wearing my finger out on the F5 key and then when they finally showed in stock I did "one-click" but it wouldn't let me, so "back" then "one-click again" over and over.

However I had just logged back on tonight, first refresh and there they were in stock - I nearly fainted! Pressed "one-click " and it worked. Couldn't believe it - but like a good MSE'er immediately posted, but of course being all a quiver put Amaxon and had to edit typo later.

Stick with it, you'll get there eventually!

I did see it come up when swearing at PC for stupid/slow/usless Amazon/orange internet connection.... I am sure you know the drill!

I posted on here yesterday that I had a spare one as I wasn't sure my order went through when a website went slow due to high usage, anway I ended up with 2 and being charged twice, I did say before I take one back would anyone here be interested I too was desperate to get one for my son.

A second controller would be a good idea, for wii sports. But I wouldn't bu any more games until you have a level head and you can decide which decent games you want to buy

Wii sports was more than enough to tide me over last christams, but defintiely try and make sure you have another controller for tennis and the other sports games, makes things so much more fun

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help as to where I can obtain a Wii at a reasonable price as I just cant afford the inflated costs some retailers and ebayers are looking for.

I was on Ozone site earlier as my wife found them through some stock checker and I thought I had got lucky, though it added 4 of them into the shopping cart by default???. However after reading the terms and conditions....

i found it rather alerting that they can increase the price prior to shipping / invoice date in line with market demand. Given its a 19th dec delivery date I was rather worried as to the freedom they have in this matter and choose not to deal with them and have now just seen earlier recent posts. I hope it goes okay for anyone using them, but I cant afford the risk myself.

I would stick with retailers either in the highstreet or try amazon, as they seem to have a ratehr regular trickle coming through, it's just a shame you can't judge when they are going to show online

HMV, WH Smith and Virgin/Zavvi seem the places to check out first on the high street as they don't seem to be forcing people into bundles and I've heard of people walking into a store and buying a couple relatively easily

OK 2 bits of news....

1) I just noticed on this website http://www.scan.co.uk/todayonly/ that they are offering Wiis...packaged in a bundle..so might not be everyone's cup of tea....I've bought PC hardware from Scan in the past and never had any problems....

2) I've been nominated official Wii hunter for my family and friends, as I just seem to be in the right place at the right time....however due to all my frantic searching and the fact that a lot of stock came available this fri/sat a few of my friends have managed to pick up their own wiis....which leaves me with a Wii I'm planning to take back to the shop....if theres anyone who wants the Wii at cost price + postage n packing.....(I'm not here to make any money!!)...just wanna help someone out if they still can't find a wii

BTW - its the recent Toy's R Us bundle which sold for £249.99...which includes the console and 4 games.

PM me for details....

If no one wants it..it's going back to my local Toys R Us.....

I am only after the one and after hearing a story of people going out of toysrus in glasgow last month with up to six in their trolley, I find it rather poor of people cashing in on the fact Nintendo dont seem to be able to meet demand and that parents are desperate to pay over twice the rrp, xmas is supposed to be about the children before money making.

I have heard a rumour that more stocks are coming in time for xmas and many retailers will get them (fingers crossed), however for any ebayers out there hoping to get stupid money the week up to xmas, I hope stocks arrive a plenty at the 179 quid and your all left with them.

I wont shed any tears for you!
