I'd have created a real stink as JL's rules are very unclear on the matter. It states one per customer, but not the time period. Is it one per customer per order? One per customer per week? One per month? One per year?

I assumed it would be one per house or unique postal address? Which would be a bit unfair if you lived in shared accomodation.
  • i just want to say dont give up on looking for wii and dont pay over the top for wii as i have been waiting for age to get one and it kinda sent me crazy but last night i manage to get one from amazon so keep ur eyes peeled as thay had about 3 or 4 diff stock at diff times, goodluck everyone x

It's more than a bit unfair if you're not buying it for yourself but on behalf of someone else, or even as another gift.
  • Well it does look like the Wii has landed!!

And I would recommend Game.co.uk as the cheapest so far!
Any better deals that are available?

    Tc
  • i'm holding out for amazon i think.

why can't someone offer a package with games people actually want?????

  • Joanne...I hope your friend has not only opened a dispute with paypal but escalated to a claim straight away.

Adrian, I've said before John Lewis cancelled on me. I even got the despatch email, & then the next morning, an email cancelling the order. They cross check everything, addresses, email addresses, credit cards etc etc. I was buying for my sister & they wouldn't even let me change the address & give her credit card details whe I contacted them on the phone.

I'd had one about 3 weeks before. Mind you, I've got 2 'children' & they both have a PS2 etc. I rarely get things in ones. As it was, one was a bithday present for my nephew & another as a Christmas present for my son, but JL wouldn't sell me two.

its awfull game and dixons are as bad, as ebay robbing people knowing everyone wants one the worst about ebay is you cant be sure what your getting my friend is £260 out of pocket he had good feedback and so on she recevied an empty box its awfull, and low and be hold he sold 15 of them and now is no longer a seller thank god for this site thats what i think

Your friend should contact the other 15, get together, do some homework, report to police and sue.

I've sold a few on ebay and have been amazed at how many people were quite happy to do a bank transfer
