    gameboy advance games can also be played on the ds lite but only in single player mode

    yes you would need either a british adapter, or an english charger lead, both can pe picked up cheap as chips on ebay, hth Dave

    Couple of down sides though - warranty claims are complicated and you'll have to take the US - UK adaptor with you or you've had it!

    DS and GBA games from the US are as cheap as chips and they have a far wider choice than in the UK. They are non region specific so work anywhere. We bought quite a few (games) when we went to Florida, kids have played on them and they're still worth more in the Uk than we paid for them over the pond. Take a look as the US Ebay.
    One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.

  • Just checked on Amazon website and they are not in stock now.
    The best thing is to ring a high street store such as Game direct to check availabilty, it seems a lot of them are not updating their web sites due to the high demand.
    Game advised they would temporarily hold a console if they have one in stock when you ring and then collect the same day.

    You star :beer: :T I read your post at 7.00pm ish whipped up to tescos and bought the last one after trailing round Manchester and the Trafford centre all day Had seen this thread about the wii a few weeks back but got one then my son wanted a ds for his birthday which is Sunday :eek: Just on the off chance looked to see if there was a ds thread :) sorry its late posting but thank you sssooooooo much and was £96 and didnt have to buy some odd game bundle :T

    Just checked my order status and it says 'posted'! Even given me a tracking number.
