It's really nice. Maplins sell the power cable but we already have one.

It's called cranberry not red . Also Amazon.com sell it so possibly you could order it from there and have it deliverd to your friend to bring here??

I can't believe that people are having such problems buying a DS. I walked in to my local gamestation shop picked up a silver DS with brain training and cheap accessory set all for £107.99 about 3 weeks ago.

Cheaper than the deal buying the accessory set which had a sock to put it in at a £114.99.

They had no pink but as it was for husband I don't think he wanted a girlie pink one.

Toysrus Milton Keynes had loads of Pink DS today.
I just walked in a got one today after the sales guy at GAME told me I'd be lucky to get one this side of Christmas, maybe I should get a Lottery ticket!

Toys r Us Leeds had loads of white, black, and pink, but no silver.

Wakefield just had pink and black.

That was 3 weeks ago!! Think a lot of people could have got them easy enough 3 weeks ago. Its now that they are running low on stocks.

For anyone shopping/hunting for DS in London..

HMV Piccadilly Circus have white, silver and black in stock at £99. They are also doing various bundle packages, starting at £114 for console + one game. I just bought white ds lite console + More Brain Training + Accessory pack (priced at £15) for £124.

I imagine this bundle would have been available for less a few weeks back, but like someone else has said on this thread, gotta grab the ds while you can to ensure the important people aren't disappointed at xmas!

HMV Oxford Circus also have white in stock.

i know its amazing how quickly theyve sold out!!

i bought my son his xmas pressie 3 weeks ish ago when asda sold ds lite with 2 games for £95...my wife even took one game back and got full price for it £25, so a new ds lite and sonic for £70..cool! also bought a ds lite case on ebay from a seller in china for £3.40 inc postage (45p for the item!) - its brilliant too (better than the £10 ones in Asda and Game!!

ill buy myself one too but will wait until after xmas as i can wait and wouldnt want to deprive a kid a chance of getting one at xmas
