    Post pretty much as normal.
I say 'pretty much' as I don't always notice if the postie has been if I don't actually get any post and I've not noticed his van which he usually parks opposite our house.

I'm a postie and it's ridiculous what we are doing at the moment, the CEO doesn't give a damn about the workforce it's all about profit. Many of our offices are so small it's hard to social distance yourself. It's been agreed for the next 5/6 weeks we will deliver parcels only and no mail on a Saturday, but there are mail deliveries on the rest of the week. I'm also finding that when lockdown started people who ordered parcels would come to the door straight away. Now people are slow to get to the door and I've noticed many people can't even be bothered to get dressed and are still in their nightwear. I'm worried what the 'new normal"will be when lockdown finishes

Has the CEO of the post office ever cared about the staff? They were quite happy to send some of there staff go to prison for fraud when they knew it was there fault.
Although granted as for social distance in a small office not really sure what they can do about that.

Rico Back the CEO as announced time and again he just wants Royal mail to be a parcel company. Everytime he announces the half yearly profits he says they are gonna be crap, and then strangely he will buy another £500,000 worth. This great British institution will never be the same again, as long as this man is CEO. While we are out on the front line risking our health delivering pizza leaflets that people dont look at but put in the bin, he is self isolating in his  multi million pound house in switzerland. Probably bought with the 6 million pound welcome to the board handshake he recieved. Gggggrrrrrrr rant over

Thanks everyone. Saw a postman today and was told next delivery would be Monday if we’re lucky. Living in Greater London , it appears we may get 2 letter deliveries a week. Not good.

To start with pretty chaotic. Sorting offices were struggling with fewer staff. Internal working practices weren't in place. By early April mail was arriving sporadically. Out of date posted order as well. Now we have regular deliveries every 2/3 days. No issues with parcels. Back log appears to have been caught up with,

    What's 'not good'?
Are you desperately waiting for an urgent letter or parcel?
Or do you just expect RM service to continue as normal during these very unusual times?
