....for those people awaiting feeder accounts to open with HSBC I’d say from my experience bide your time and contact them by phone weekly whilst checking your on boarding portal once or twice a day for updates. The once a week phone call is definitely necessary though as mistakes are being made, but once they are found they are rectified and the process moves forward. I applied initially on May 7th for a feeder account, I’m a sole trader of 6 years with a personal account at the Halifax. I think, from reading this forum that most people’s experiences are very different regarding this process but last Thursday my feeder account opened successfully and I immediately filled in the online BBL agreement through the onboarding portal and digitally signed it, receiving an email of confirmation. My proof of residence was sent along with my direct debit mandate around a month ago. This is clearly a waiting game as these people and the systems within HSBC are under an extreme amount of pressure to get these loans out of the door. Be patient and keep calling once a week whilst checking your onboarding.Reading this forum though, there seem to be a lot of angry people who give the impression that they’re needs are far more important than anyone else’s.....a queue is a queue unfortunately guys and you will have to wait like the rest of us! Like it or not! Good luck to you all. Rich1

Hi all, sorry, I suspect this will get buried in the replies, but looking for advice:
I only use internet banking, never registered for telephone banking,
Anyway, I applied on 21st June and received the application acknowledgement. Since then, I have heard nothing.
I called up on Friday (the 4th time I've tried and eventually managed to speak to someone). They said I should look out for an email from echosign. Well, pretty sure I've not had anything like that. I asked them to check and he said he would. Took me through security for telephone banking, which I failed, probably because I've never had it. Anyway, I now need to send off a load of forms to reset that security.
Does anyone know if the timeframes from me applying to still not hearing anything are normal? It's been 5 weeks. Pretty useless process if you have no funds and have to wait 5 weeks and longer...0 -

Did the eco sign on Friday morning and have not heard anything since. I’ve read here some people saying money was in their accounts by end of day after signing. I have a feeder account0

I got offered to sign up for the hsbc kinetic account instead of the feeder because they said that the process would be quicker, it took just 2 days to set up the account then I applied for the loan on the 10th July, got the application ID near enough straight away and heard nothing since.0
