MadMuttUK Banked with HSBC 12 years, account in credit, 2 directors credit checked – asked for BBL to go to that account to do exactly what you're doing, applied first time on the 4th, sent email on 10th saying Echosign was on way and nothing. So after calling applied again yesterday so I don't think there's any rhyme or rhythm as to timing with HSBC at the minute.

how long is it normally for the Esign ? .. i made my app on friday the 15th, havent had anything other than the "Application has been received" email i got right away.
seeing alot of people reapplying just trying to gauge a timeframe before i should think of doing that.

I have been asking the same question here ,I’ve done the app on 12th also the same email instantly and nothing from this point. I am thinking of applying again.

Maybe everyone reapplying doesn't help. As frustrating as it is it just adds more to the list

I applied on the 6th, got the echosign email yesterday (19th). As long as the original application went through and you got to the last screen which gave you a reference no. I think it will get to you eventually. I didn't receive any actual communication until the echosign email which came out of the blue yesterday afternoon.

In this case I might postpone my app , I don’t want to force myself back on the queue. I’ll wait till next week and see what happens. Thanks for the heads-up!

MadMattUK there are no differences. I’ve used my limited company for 7 years through an HSBC business bank
account and I’m the sole director, just no consistency with the approvals.

Hsbc is really very inconsistent with the applications , my experience with loyds was very smooth, from the time of the application to receiving the money into the account less then 48 hours and that is because I’ve done the app during the weekend.

    Heads up all!
I applied for the bbls with HSBC on 10th May, with my personal account as a sole trader. received the echo sign docs on 13th May, immediately signed and noticed a DDM was set up on my account. I then received another echosign doc on 15th May with correct company title which I  Also signed and sent back. Received the funds this afternoon.

So I applied on Wednesday 6th May, I have an HSBC personal account.
Heard nothing until Friday 15th May when the echosign email arrived and was completed successfully.
No money yet (19th) but when I look on the HSBC app at my list of direct debits there is a new one for this loan.
Also I assume, though I'm not sure, that a transaction will appear in "PENDING" the day before the money is credited?
Anyone know if this is the case?
    Good Luck everyone.
Money arrived in account today. Nothing in pending, it just appeared.
