APCOA, debt collector and QDR solicitors

Hi the registered keeper of my vehicle received a parking notice from APCOA in February asking for £60. This was not paid and a letter from a debt collection agency was received in March asking for £120. This was also ignored and now a solicitor letter from QDR is asking for £142 or they may advise their client to seek a CCJ if not paid within 14 days.  This parking fine was issued in an NHS car park in Northern Ireland - can I get some help please as I am not sure how to proceed. Many thanks

    and complain to the SRA

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and in some cases, cancellation.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the enacted

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

What if the registered keeper was an NHS employee who needed to park promptly to carry out their job role

It will be great when NI gets Google.
NI has google - turns out that despite the wealth of forum posts saying this crowd should be ignored, there have been cases where a CCJ has been progressed. But thanks for the useful advice it has really helped

Apcoa don't even do so in England and Wales , so I definitely do not believe they will try it on in northern ireland.  Apcoa are a laughing stock

Apcoa don't even try to follow keeper liability and there is no POFA in Northern Ireland

Now who needs google? - you want to act the !!!!!! go and look yourself
There's no need, I know, I've spent the last 7.5 years dealing with this stuff.

But it was you who made the statement, 'posts saying this crowd should be ignored, there have been cases where a CCJ has been progressed', not me!  So evidently you seem to know more than me, that's why I asked you to show me.  Perfectly respectful request, no need for abusive posts.  Short fuses don't help anyone.
