a qualified (CILEX & registered with the SRA) relative of mine is moving jobs soon and is currently on furlough by her old employerthey failed to get a grip on home working and being of an age they are not even sure they are going to reopen , so could be one of those statistics (her old employer) and if she stays she may be made redundant or let goher new employer says they are going to treat her as the guinea pig for home working because they can see it as the future and apparently some or all of them are currently working from home or on furlough. their intention seems to be less in the office, better flexible working and home working , with a possibility of A and B shifts or similar (like a lot of firms are thinking about) - this relative of mine specialises in wills and probate , but has tasted several options in the legal menuanother relative who works on UC for the DWP is currently working from home quite successfully to try and clear the backlog and no commuting so saving petrol money, I dont expect this to change in the next few months, but I suppose the DWP may change to flexible shift patterns , possibly one week at home and another in work ?times they are a changingnb:- nobody I know works for a parking company, or a debt collector, or any law firm that obtains these contracts like wright hassell , or gladrags, or DCBL or anyone similar , tends to be wills and probate, conveyancing etc , or criminal law where they assist the alleged or convicted offendersjust thought I would add that in so nobody thinks I know any of the par@site firms or staff , I dont5

Some firms are looking at their large premises and thinking that homeworking is not a bad idea. The firm that a friend works for (pension admin) are considering options such as part home working.

I just wish I had bought shares in Zoom at the start of all this.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.6 -

And about the CCJ problem, we all know that Theresa May told a pack of lies2 -
