Hopefully you had a bit of fun, before things got out of hand, we had a couple of fab holidays, Barbados & Florida, I stopped working when I had the kids, so the time with them was priceless. remember the good bits, they'll be back before you know it!

well im having a good day i made £50 at a car boot today. not bad considering it kept raining and that most of the stuff i sold was 50p things. also listed some stuff on amazon and have already sold 3 things making me £12. so very happy today.
also been told im moving a week on monday. im getting a bigger house thats warmer and nicer than what im in and getting between £500 and £1000 for the privildge. wont add that to my totals untill i know and have the money but im so chuffed. we were getting abit worried as we had to kick our lodger out and rent our house through a private agency, but the initial outlay and getting a few jobs done looked like it was going to cripple us again and id have to borrow money from family. now though it looks like we will be ok and dh has a bonus coming soon that although might not clear the debts we wanted does mean im not getting any worse. also renting through an agency im looking at getting an extra £200 a month than i was of the person in there now. so i only stand to gain.
i might not reach my target this year thanks to being messed about by my tenant but at least thhings are going the right way. still hoping to move abroad at the end of the year but we dont know now so will be happy with whatever happens over the next few weeks as long as im not adding to debts.back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed :beer:0 -
What a nice positive post ..it really does seem like things are moving on for you..0

thanks
its been really easy to sit and think "why does it always seem that when something goes right for us it goes bad in the same breath" if that makes sense.
everytime we have got some money to get straight things have happened that have stopped our plans. like a ppi reclaim we wanted to save but then our car broke ad it all went on that. husband was feeling down today thinking about how much we could have paid of debt if our lodger hadnt been a pain but i told him to think that for once something good has happened to us.
we have been fed up with lodger since day one and now hes going it puts us better of so what our initial outlay is costing us we will get back from the extra rent. plus moving will be good and its giving us a bit extra to cover the letting agents fees and so we can still have some of his bonus for debts. so things are loking up for once.
of course we would have loved to clear a big debt but at least we arent going to end up further into it so im happy.
got a new house, hopefully will soon have new tenants paying proper rent and less hassle, no threats of environmental health and my dauhter due in 14 weeks so whats not to look forward to. plus if im getting £450 rent rather than £250 my debts will clear quicker.
sorry for rambling on just trying to keep positive.back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed :beer:0 -
