DCBL - Debt Collection Baliffs

I have received a second letter from these people over a PCN issued by a ONE Parking Solution on August 16th 2019. I originally replied stating mitigating circumstances in the form of an appeal which they turned down. I have since ignored any further communications including one from ZZPS Limited.  The letter ftrom DCBL is headed 'Legal Recovery Action'. The sum is now £160.00. The letter shows various ways to pay the amount they are claiming, the original amount was £100.00. The letter also states "This case is not subject to High Court or Bailiff action.  I would appreciate any advice as to how to handle this situation. Thanks.

Tell us if they give you the slightest bit of trouble.    Their card has been well and truly marked.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully, when life gets back to normal, it will become impossible for those scammers who are left to continue their vile trade, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

    Which car park?  Sussex?

OPS are easy to beat and I've never seen them win when a Defendant turns up to a local hearing.

Did you read the entire court judgment from Lewes where I was the lay representative in court, and see that I am happy to accompany Defendants and speak for them as their lay rep, free, in Sussex?

They never take any notice of appeals it doesn't make money, but if the above is true you could have seen this off at POPLA why on earth did you throw that chance away?

PPC's in my view have started using DCBL due to their notoriety on the awful channel five TV programme; Can't Pay? We'll Take It Away but in your case they are just greedy Muppets chancing their arm.

Yes, even their 'collections' letters have that logo bottom left.  Very misleading indeed.

    Ooh, let's see more then.

Show us the car park on GoogleStreetView.

Show us the CCTV images they took.  If it's easier, send me a pm as myself and ParkingMad are on OPS' case.
