Thank you for your email and please accept my apologies for the delay in replying to you.
I understand you are looking to make a claim under your policy as a result of the FCO advising against all but essential travel.
Please find attached a copy of our policy wording. I would refer you to the cancellation section of your policy which states;
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Any claim if you are travelling to a country where the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) have advised against all but essential travel.
You can check the FCO travel advice at [www.fco.gov.uk]www.fco.gov.uk.
You will note that your policy does not provide cover for this eventuality which means that unfortunately, we are unable to consider a cancellation claim under your policy.
Please be advised that where the FCO does advise against all but essential travel, you should contact your Airline or travel provider to discuss the options and alternatives available to you. This may include alternative travel dates or a credit to book against your next trip. Your travel provider will advise you accordingly.
I am sorry that my response could not be more favourable.
This the reply back from the travel insurance we have got. This travel insurance was also recommended by the martin lewis site.....Leisure Guard Travel. So basically, the insurance isnt worth a jot and im about to loose £7.5k in total
Is there anything i can do please

I would like advice on how I'm reading that reply
To me that reads as if you travel to a country that is against FCO advice you are not covered.
It doesn't seem to say if that advice stops you travelling.

Do you have a copy of the full terms and conditions for your policy? What does this say about not being able to travel due to FCO advice?0

11. I am booked to travel to a destination where the FCO has advised against travel, what should I do?
In the first instance, you should contact the airline and/or travel provider to discuss your options for amending or cancelling your trip. Many travel providers are enabling customers to cancel or alter their booking free of charge. Not all travel insurance policies provide cover for cancellations due to a change in FCO advice. If your policy does include this cover, which will be shown under the Cancellation section of your policy wording, we will consider claims made in the event of cancellation if the FCO advised against travel to your destination after the time of booking or policy purchase (whichever was later). Please note that if the FCO is not advising against travel to your destination at the time you are due to travel, you will not be covered for cancellation under your travel insurance policy. If you are able to alter your booking with your airline or travel provider, you may be able to amend your Single Trip travel insurance policy to an alternative destination or change your dates of travel. Please note that if the changes to the policy are significantly different you may be required to pay an additional premium. If you are no longer travelling and do not need to make a claim under your Single Trip travel insurance policy, please contact the company that issued the policy to discuss your options for cancelling or refunding your policy.
Have a look at your policy
If you want take a photo of it (deleting personal details) and post it, as that would help.

They didnt attach anything to the email, so i have asked them for it. Feeling this is more delay tactics from them like TUI and the villa people.0
